Foreword

The Berger's were a happy family residing in sunny Southern California. Hal, a professional consultant specializing in mergers and acquisitions, was happily married to Charlize, a former model with a curious and alluring nature. They also had a charming and inquisitive son, making their family complete.

In 2005, Charlize convinced Hal and their son to join her on a brief vacation to her home country, South Africa.  Hal's life took an unexpected turn triggering a clash of cultures and a personal crisis.

Initially hesitant due to the country's reputation for dangerous crimes and his lack of familiarity with it, Hal eventually agreed to fulfill his wife's wish of reconnecting with her roots and introducing their son, Liam, to her Afrikaner heritage.

Upon their arrival, Hal was struck with a mix of emotions. The stunning landscape and grandeur of the country mesmerized him, but he couldn't shake off the feeling of unease and discomfort. The constant reminders of the country's dark past of apartheid and the prevalent crime rate cast a shadow over the unfamiliar social norms and rich history of South Africa.

As time passed, the stark contrast of cultures between Hal's American upbringing and the Afrikaner customs led to conflicts and tensions within the family. The liberties and openness of American society clashed with the strict and traditional beliefs of the Afrikaners, causing confusion and frustration for Hal and Liam.

While these differences initially caused minor disruptions, they eventually escalated into more significant consequences.

Thrust into a life of danger and survival, an ordinary man evolves into an operative, driven beyond his own limits by the fierce love for his child.

Living in a safe house amidst arms buyers from around the globe.  Constantly outwitting, outmaneuvering, and staying one step ahead of the game.

He will stop at nothing to recover his innocent kidnapped son, lost in the treacherous depths of international kidnapping.

As he delves into the depths of South Africa, he faces endless obstacles. False arrest attempts, imprisonment, a web of corruption and death threats.

This is his unbreakable vow, and nothing will stop him.

"I will recover my son my way not relying on the system"

"Nothing will stop me until I find Liam and hunt them down"
